Privacy Policy – myPocket

1. Introduction

Your privacy is very important to us. The myPocket app, developed by YGVA, was created with a commitment to protecting your personal data and ensuring you have full control over your financial information.

2. Collection and Use of Information

a) Information You Provide to Us (Stored Locally)

myPocket allows you to record financial information such as:

Transactions (expenses, income, transfers)
Bank accounts
Credit cards
Categories
Payees

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device, using an internal database (Room). None of this information is transmitted to external servers or accessed by the developer. This means that only you have access to your financial data.

b) Information Collected Automatically and by Third Parties

To improve your experience and keep the app running, we collect some information and use third-party services:

• Usage Data and Ads

We use Google AdMob to display ads within the app. This service may collect:

Device identifiers (such as the advertising ID)
IP address
Information about your interaction with ads

This data is used to show you more relevant ads. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

• In-App Purchases

We use Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases. When you make a purchase, Google may collect payment and transaction information. We do not have access to this information. For more details, see the Google Privacy Policy.

• Hall of Honor (Optional)

To publicly thank users who support myPocket's development, we offer the optional "Hall of Honor" feature. If you choose to participate, we will collect:

A nickname of your choice.
The purchase token from your purchase, used solely to verify support.

This information is sent to an automated service (Google Sheets) for the purpose of displaying your nickname in the Hall of Honor within the app. Your participation is entirely voluntary.

• Crash and Error Diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics)

To ensure myPocket's stability, we use Firebase Crashlytics.

What we collect: Technical crash reports (stack traces), device model, operating system version, and app state logs at the time of an error.
Privacy: This data is anonymous and does not contain your financial information, account names, or personal data.
Control: You can enable or disable this reporting at any time in Settings > Diagnostic Data.

• Fonts (Google Fonts)

The app uses fonts from the Google Fonts library, which may generate network requests to Google's servers to load the interface typography.

• Currency Exchange Rates

The app communicates with an external API to obtain real-time foreign currency exchange rates. No personal information is sent during this communication.

3. How We Use Your Information

The collected information is used to:

Operate and improve app functionality.
Display personalized ads.
Process in-app purchases.
Display your nickname in the Hall of Honor (if you opt in).
Ensure system stability and security.

4. Sharing of Information

Your local financial data is never shared. Your Hall of Honor nickname, being a public display feature, will appear in the app if you choose to participate.
Automatically collected data may be shared with service partners (such as Google) only for the purposes described above, such as ad serving, payment processing, and error diagnostics.

5. Data Security

Since financial data is stored locally on your device, the security of this information depends on the protection and integrity of the device itself. The app offers the option of biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) for an extra layer of security. We recommend using passwords, biometrics, or other security measures available on your Android system.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can manage your ad preferences in your Android device's privacy settings.
Participation in the Hall of Honor is entirely optional.
You have the right to request deletion of any collected data, such as your Hall of Honor nickname. To do so, contact us via the email provided in the "Contact" section of this policy.
All locally stored data can be completely removed by uninstalling the app.

7. Children's Privacy

myPocket is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with information, we will delete it from our systems.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the last update will always be displayed at the top of the document. The app may notify you of significant updates through the In-App Updates system. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly to stay informed about how we protect your information.
